The collection from Percy Irausquin kick started the show displaying some of his best designs. The fashion world sorely misses him.
His designs are best described as a love affair with beautiful fabrics. Models walked down the runway, which began light and happy and became dark and dramatic. The choice for hair and makeup was dark, sultry, combined with tousled bed hair curled starting at the ears.Playful, that is an arrow in her hair!
Clever, bold and feminine.
Do you remember this dress from yesterday's post? This is what it looks like alive. Simply gorgeous, this dress tells the story of the time Percy spent with Hubert Barrere, the corset specialist at Givenchy.
Actually my favorite photo of the evening as I adore viewing dresses from the back.

agreed, love the backs of dresses, and they're so much more inventive these days. Beautiful gowns, and colors.
Beautiful pictures, my dear.
Glad to see bold colours in the collection ;)
Take care sweetie

Gosh big dresses and hairdos!
these dresses are gorgeous! I especially love the pink one...I wonder if there will be knockoffs of it that would fit my budget? :D
fashion herald, I was about to take pictures of all the dresses from the back for the show but I know how important it is to see the front and of course to see the makeup of the model!
the seeker, I'm attracted to the injection of colors too in his dresses. It's so sad that he's no longer around...
make do style, I think the models really needed big hair to balance those dresses. Works well no?
blu3, the pink one is also my fav from this show. The show presenter actually wore this out later and it looked gorgeous on her too! This dress really is great to lend curves cleverly to the female body. The color is so bubbly too!
Great pictures and dresses! The styles of the long ones are often worn and hidden under the black "abayas". Attending a "Traditional Arab Wedding is like going to a fashion show. Imagine how color full the streets would be if the black was off! I am happy you had a great time and thanks for sharing your pictures and impression.
